Covid19 Updates
We will use this for gym updates and changes due to the Covid 19 Virus.
ARE YOU TAKING ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS TO RESTRICT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19?
Yes. We have dedicated significant resources to ensure your safety and to help you feel at ease during uncertain times. This page is full of steps we’re taking to prioritize your safety.
DO I NEED TO RESERVE A SPOT IN CLASS AHEAD OF TIME?
Health and government officials have asked that businesses maintain 30 days of records and encourage reservations for all appointments. Please help us control the flow of traffic by reserving your spot in a class or open gym time.
WILL YOU STILL OFFER ONLINE OPTIONS?
Yes. There will still be online workout options available during Phase I of re-opening.
Phase I Re-Opening begins ???
We have created a COVID Phase I re-opening process to ensure your safety.
Our #1 priority is your safety. Help us as we take extra precautions to keep you and your loved ones safe. Below you’ll find the protocols we’ve put in place for our Phase I:
-
We will have 1-way traffic in & out.
- Fast-acting disinfectant will be available at every workout station and contact point.
- Fresh air… inside & out! More air circulation for indoor classes as well as daily outdoor classes to get your Vitamin D.
-
Classes will be limited to 10 people, reserved ahead of time.
- Equipment and contact points will be sanitized at the end and before each class.
-
Each classroom will have separate bag storage and seating to minimizing gathering in shared spaces.
- You may be asked to take your temperature upon entering The Hill and/or further screened for contact risk factors.
- More class times to meet demand.
- We’re creating reBuild program to help you get back your strength and cardio with minimal risk injury.
- There will not be any shared chalk buckets for the foreseeable future. We’ll be selling individual liquid and powder chalk for you to use during your workouts.
If you are feeling unwell, or have any symptoms of illness, we advise you to stay home. The same goes for the kiddos.
Let’s continue to be diligent in our cleanliness not only for ourselves but for our entire gym family.
Check the CDC for the latest information.

Hey Hustle Fitness family,
We wanted to use this page to talk a little about health.
Whether the world is experiencing a global pandemic or not, your immune system is the first line of defense against any type of sickness.
A strong immune system plays a huge role in whether a person gets sick, how long sickness lasts, and sometimes, whether a person survives or not.

Let's run through a few points...
...to remind everyone what they can do to keep those immune systems fired up.
- Breath. Your breath is incredible and the most important tool for good health. It is your foundation. If you know nothing of breath work, you’ll find safety information HERE and a breathwork exercise HERE.
- Sleep. Sleep is a place for recovery. For the best sleep:
- Turn off screens and dampen the lighting in your home 2-3 hours before bed.
- Stop eating 2-3 hours before bed. Digestion is work. We don’t work while we sleep.
- Very light breath work as you are lying down to fall asleep
- Mushrooms. Reishi, Turkey Tail, and Agarikon mushrooms/supplements have been shown to have incredible effects on human immune systems.
- Nutrition. I’ll leave this one to Michael Pollan – “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”
- Water. Do it. Start every day with a cold shower, an ice bath, a cold water douse, etc. Trust me on this. And drink plenty of it. You’re made of it.

What will my first time in your gym be like?
Your first time in, we want you to feel comfortable. One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of the facilities, we’ll sit down with you and walk through your goals, we’ll do a quick fitness assessment with you, and we’ll walk through what you can expect.
Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?
We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout. What’s best… A treadmill at home? The gym down the street that is $15/month? A CrossFit membership? We’d actually encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals? Personalized attention? Trained, professional coaches? Accountability? Working out with a group of like-minded people who cheer on your success? If the answer to any of the above is “yes”, then we’d encourage you to check us out.
What’s your drop-in policy?
We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes come “throw down” with us!
If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $_DROP_IN_FEE per day or offer a week-long punch pass for $_PUNCH_PASS_FEE.
It’d be great if you’d plan on arriving 15 minutes before scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule Here.
You may find that we do things a little differently than your “box back home.” We hope that you enjoy the change in scenery, clientele, maybe even music. If anything makes you uncomfortable, however, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
How often do you recommend I come to the gym?
If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.
What exactly is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a fitness program that will change your life. By it’s definition, it uses “constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity”. As a truly functional program, the difficulty level of our daily workouts is designed to be increased or decreased, depending upon the individual. This makes them doable by anyone.
Daily workouts could include things such as core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, etc. And all our workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility.
I’m not in very good shape… can I do CrossFit?
The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, or have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.
One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.
Yes, anyone.
I heard that CrossFitter’s use their own language, can you help me with the terms?
Sure! This is a great link that will help get you started – http://greatist.com/fitness/ultimate-guide-crossfit-lingo. Word of caution: No need to be intimidated by this… ☺ We’ll walk you through it all!
Can I do my own thing during class?
For any experienced CrossFitters, Weightlifters, and Strongman, we have an Open Gym area where you can follow your own programming. We only ask that you follow our house rules.
They are:
- Class has priority.
- Clips on all bars with weight even while warming up. No exceptions.
- Have fun!
I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.
If you are experienced CrossFitter, Weightlifter, or Strongman, we will give you a complimentary day. If you feel Hustle Fitness is the right gym for you, we’ll get you started on our On Ramp program. Please contact us at you@hustlefitness.com.
Do I need to reserve a spot or contact anyone?
Please use the Schedule to “Enroll”. You will fill out your account information, provide payment, and sign the waiver. We do not turn anyone away. You can email you@hustlefitness.com or complete the “Contact Form” if you have any questions.
